About the N-Strike Elite: Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster
The Nerf N-Strike Elite: Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster is a fully automatic Nerf rifle. It’s powered by 4 C batteries (not included) which install under the rifle barrel in a screwed-in compartment. There’s a button below the trigger that allows you to rev up the motor, which you must do before firing.
You can fire off one shot at a time, bursts of shots, or hold in the trigger to spray all your darts at once! The Rapidstrike comes with a clear, 18-round magazine that lets you see how many darts you have left at any given time.
The Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster has five Tactical Rails for attachments, and the stock can be pushed in for mobility or pulled out for accuracy.
This Nerf Blaster comes with 18 Elite darts, which can all be loaded into the magazine at one time. The magazine has a spring system that automatically loads the next dart after every shot. You can also purchase additional Quick Reload Clips so you have less downtime between shots!
The Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster has a 75 foot range, just like the non-battery powered Retaliator Blaster. There’s a removeable, see-through panel on the top of the barrel where you can quickly fix any darts that jam.

Who is this Nerf Gun Good For?
The N-Strike Elite: Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster is a great Nerf rifle for someone looking to expand into electronic Nerf toys. The advantage of the Rapidstrike is it can quickly shoot darts while you get to keep both hands on the Blaster for steady aiming. Nerf recommends users of this Blaster to be 8 years or older. It’ll be heavier than other guns without batteries, so it might be too much for young kids to handle.
If you want something that works well for hide-and-seek or sneak attacks, you probably want a different Nerf gun like the Strongarm Blaster, as when you rev up the motor to fire the darts you will give away your position.
What People are Saying About the N-Strike Elite: Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster
Here’s what Nerf enthusiasts are saying when it comes to the Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster –
“My child loves the fact that this gun is battery operated and shoots the ammo faster/further. It doesn’t take very long to use the ammo so I’d recommend getting refill cartridges and extra ammo if you are playing nerf war“
“this is the best nerf blaster in the kids collection it is full auto with an adjustable stock so a kid or adult can shoot it comfortably”
“The darts fly farther and faster. This thing can also shoot darts much more rapidly. The only downside is the loud noise the motor makes when it spins up. This is a good toy for kids and adults in the house but not at the workplace due to the noise.”
Overall, the Nerf N-Strike Elite: Rapidstrike CS-18 Blaster is a fun electric Blaster to add to your collection if you want something that can spray darts in a hurry. Many users report issues with the gun going through batteries quickly and jamming if you don’t fire all the darts at once, so for that reason we can only give it 3 stars.
