N-Strike Elite: Dual-Strike Blaster Review
|Product Name:||N-Strike Elite: DualStrike|
|Projectile:||Mega or Elite Dart|
About the N-Strike Elite: Dual-Strike Blaster
The N-Strike Elite: Dual-Strike Blaster is a unique Nerf pistol that shoots both Elite Darts and Mega Darts. You can load up to 6 darts total into the Blaster at a time, 3 Elite and 3 Mega.
The Dual-Strike is the first Nerf gun of its kind that can fire both Mega and Elite darts. From the image below, you can see how the barrels align with the Elite darts on top, and the Mega darts below. The Elite barrels look nearly identical to the Triad EX-3 Blaster.
There’s a switch on the right side of the Dual-Strike that will allow you to change between Elite and Mega darts at the flick of the switch. You need to make sure the switch is fully engaged to one side or the other, otherwise your darts won’t fly very far at all. The switch makes a very audible “click” once it snaps into place, so it shouldn’t be an issue.
The Dual-Strike cannot be Slam Fired, instead it has a plunger you pull back after each shot. There’s one Tactical Rail on top of the Dual-Strike for attachments.

Who is this Nerf Gun Good For?
The Nerf N-Strike Elite: Dual-Strike Blaster makes for a great addition to your arsenal if you play in a lot of Nerf wars that use a variety of darts. It can be very annoying if the person firing at you is using a dart that’s incompatible with your Nerf gun, so you can’t return fire. This Blaster solves that problem in a perfect way.
It is a bit larger than most other Nerf pistols, so it’s not as mobile or lightweight. It does have a good grip on the bottom of the barrels to let you aim to two-handed, which is nice.
What People are Saying About the N-Strike Elite: Dual-Strike Blaster
Here’s what Nerf enthusiasts are saying about the Dual-Strike Blaster –
“The Dual-Strike itself is a bit unwieldy, being rather bulky toward the front, but it’s not heavy by any stretch and is reasonably comfortable. The priming handle is large and solid, making this blaster a breeze to use, and the trigger guard and grip are comfy, too. Despite its aesthetic shortcomings, the DualStrike comes away as a great performer thanks to its flexibility and reasonable power, and its large chassis provides for broad modification opportunities, if that’s something you want to do.“
Overall, we recommend the Nerf Dual-Strike to anyone who plays Nerf games with a mix of Mega and Elite guns. The ability to fire back either dart makes this Blaster a real winner.Read More Reviews!
